Prestige Bellavista Apartment

The location for public transport links was fabulous. The train from the airport stops at the bottom of the road and the Metro A route that goes to most of the significant sights is a three minute wall. For the colosseum change onto B line at central station. A very large, well stocked super market is 2/3 minutes from the property and a pharmacy. The views from the balcony are great, quite a way from main sights, but we could clearly see St Peter's Basilica dome and the beautiful Basilica os San Giovanni in Laterno. They light up in the evening. We would highly recommend visiting the San Giovanni Basilica, it is free the enter and the resting place for 22 Popes, it is about 5 minutes walk from the San Giovanni metro and an less touristy part of Rome. The Aquaduct park is easy to get to on Metro A and lovely should you want a local walking area. The apartment is in a great location for this as they are both on the south side of the City.

It was quite a surprise to be serenaded with very load church bells at 6.45pm, 7.00pm and 9.00pm each evening, however, as we were a party of adults it became part of the experience.
