Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Estes Park

Overall, the location is great, very close to Rocky Mountain National Park, views from our cabin were gorgeous, but management needs to improve their customer service, check-in clarity, and cleanliness.

We booked our stay through Booking.com, where the check-in time was listed as until 11:00 PM. However, at 7:20 PM, a receptionist named Gloria called us in a fairly unwelcoming manner to inform us that they were leaving in 30 minutes. She insisted on charging our card immediately over the phone and told us our key would be left at the Ranger Station. On top of that, she charged us significantly more than the price confirmed on Booking.com. While the resort eventually refunded the price difference, it left a very bad first impression. Our cabin was clean, but the floors were dirty. Additionally, there are way too many rules for guests. They charge an extra cleaning fee for excessive filth, you are expected to fully clean the cabin before checking out—they even expect you to vacuum!

the location and fresh air

the bathroom and kitchen weren’t clean. there were spider webs with dead bugs in the bathroom corners by the shower, and sticky finger prints on the door jams and the kitchen windows. it kind of felt like the last renter cleaned and the professionals didn’t do any actual washing. and the last item that was unpleasant was the mattress was covered in a plastic bag. therefore, the sweating was so uncomfortable and the crunchy feel unpleasant. booking.com actually messed up my rental agreement and they almost changed me an extra 200$. not cool.
