Tuscan Country House Monastero

Giorgio the owner met us exactly as planned at the property and spent time with us to show us all the amenities, and provided excellent recommendations on trails, sights, restaurants, and local massage. House is almost new and has upscale touches throughout. The most beautiful and comfortable house we've stayed in during our five lengthy trips through Italy. What a find!! Kitchen very well equipped for all meals, dishwasher, new high end washing machine, all beds very comfortable, large new TV in living area. Beautiful views of Arezzo and the rolling Tuscan hills, floor to ceiling windows in kitchen, dining area, and living room which wrap around the dining room and kitchen for views uphill into the olive groves. Unbelievably serene and inspiring. Perfect place for exploring Tuscany, Chianti, and Umbria. One hour to Sienna, one to Montelpuciano, Radda and Gaoile in Chianti, one half hour to Cortona, one hour 20 minutes to Assisi. Big, modern grocery store within 5 minutes. Arezzo's cathedrals and plaza are within 10 minutes and more extensive than we had expected. We were able to attend the monthly Arezzo Antique Market and Fair and it's impressive (first Saturday and Sunday of the month) This is the perfect place for relaxation, the grounds are large and very special (surrounded by Olive groves), the views stunning. It allows wonderful breakfasts outside or inside with great views, then an easy day of exploring Tuscany, Chianti and Umbria, and then a return to the property for an evening watching the sunset and having dinner either under the covered pergola, at the table on the front lawn, or in the dining room looking out the floor to ceiling windows. I miss it already!!

We only stayed 9 nights, wish it could have been a month. This is a VERY comfortable, beautiful and serene property

Internet nie jest zbyt dobry, ale to absolutnie nie przeszkadzało nam w pobycie.

Perfekte Küche mit allen nötigen Küchenutensilien ausgestattet. Giorgio ist ein freundlicher, hilfsbereiter und netter Gastgeber. Die Wohnung und der Gartenbereich rund ums Haus ist einzigartig, gut gepflegt mit einem sehr schönen Blick auf Arezzo. Man fühlte sich sofort wie zu Hause. Tolle Lage! Sehr zu empfehlen. Norbert H.
