“Good potential, but needs some improvements”

The bed and simple kitchen

This accommodation has a small, family-run profile, with a friendly host who shows goodwill in assisting guests. My intention is not to discourage the business, but rather to share observations that may help improve the project and guide future guests on what to expect. The cleanliness was not adequate upon arrival, especially in the bathroom — there was dust and even hair behind the toilet. After we pointed it out, the host did send someone, but it felt more like a quick “simulation” of cleaning rather than proper hygiene. Another point to note is accessibility: although Booking suggests that the distance to the main area is short (200–300 meters), the access actually involves a steep slope and stairs to reach the unit. For people with mobility difficulties, or even those not used to physical effort, this can be challenging. In the bathroom, some details also compromised comfort: The shower water is extremely hot and difficult to regulate, so care is needed to avoid burns (my friend actually got slightly burned). There is no shower box, which makes the floor wet and slippery. The sink tap constantly drips, leaving the bathroom floor damp. I truly believe this place has potential, and with some adjustments in cleaning, maintenance, accessibility, and clearer information about the location, it could offer guests a much better experience and strengthen the business in the future.

Sehr nett, wenn keine Erwartungen an Ausstattung gestellt werden

Man muss wissen, dass diese Wohnung völlig aus der Zeit gefallen ist. Wenn man sich darauf einlässt, ergibt es eine prima Unterkunft mit schicken Böden in allen Räumen. Gebucht haben wir aber wegen der sehr guten Lage in fußläufiger Nähe zum Strand und in den Ort (Achtung, steiler Auf- bzw. Abstieg). Außerdem punktet die Wohnung mit einem Balkon mit großartigem Blick auf den Ort mit Burg und Meer und einem Parkplatz, auf dem auch größere Fahrzeuge, bei uns ein 5 m langer Bus, nach Nachfrage Platz haben. Und dazu gab es eine liebe Vermieterin, die vor Ort ist und morgens ein süßes Frühstück präsentiert hat. Werden wir für ggf. nächsten Besuch speichern.

Klobürste könnte mal erneuert werden.
