I loved the amenities in the unit, and was pleasantly surprised by the bidets in both bathrooms. The flat screen TV in the living room is massive with excellent sound and picture. But the main draw, was of course, the ocean view and sounds! I loved waking up and sleeping to the crashing waves of the ocean.
Please trim the bushes outside the bedroom window because they were a bit overgrown and obscured the view of the ocean from the bedroom.

Unbelievable location with over 180 degree unobstructed ocean views. Walk out the door and down some stairs to a rocky ocean path with lots of places to stop and sun. The place itself was very comfortable. They even had washlet toilets! Enclosed parking was provided. A safe neighborhood for walking. Cute places to shop and eat within a half mile or so. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.
There is no way to escape the airport/airplane sounds along this part of the san diego coast. This location is not directly in the flight path, thankfully. But you will see and hear airplanes frequently. They did not keep us awake however.

It was really nice and quiet. I enjoyed that the property was steps from the beach but yet a few small streets down allowed us to have full access to restaurants and bars. It was honestly the best of both worlds!
I noticed there were ants around the house and bedroom. Maybe if there is a bug spray for next time.
