Underrated gem close to Belfast!

The house is very close to Belfast City Airport and the Sydenham train station (from there it's only two stops into Belfast). The room was perfectly adequate and the kitchen was outstanding.

The bathroom door was a little squeaky and the kitchen can be quite cold, especially in winter.

Relaxing accommodation in a quiet neighbourhood with a welcoming housekeeper

The housekeeper, Ryan, was very welcoming, making sure the guests feel comfortable. In addition, the house is very quiet, perfect for relaxing and working, if needed.

It is a bit far from the main shopping thoroughfare of Ballyhackamore... other than that, everything was fine.

Comfortable, convenient stay in Belfast

The house is well equipped and had everything I needed to live comfortably, including a well stocked kitchen. The location was very convenient within a few minute's walk of Sydenham train station, and is also walkable to the City Airport. Ryan was a very responsive and helpful host, always making sure I had everything I needed for my stay.

Great location

The location was excellent. It was clean and quiet.

It was cold in the house, there was no extra blanket, and the radiators were cold or barely warm on some days. The electric heater was tiny, and it was quite difficult to dry clothes after washing them. There was no television.

Exceptionally CONVENIENT - I walked from the airport. Host team were excellent, friendly and helpful.

I'd have felt "more confident" if there was another toilet/bathroom - given the No. of guests staying in the house.

Bathroom door noisy Shoukd have a TV. Only one bathroom fir up to 5 guests. On thrcplus side good location and Ryan wes very nice

Just what we needed, clean and convienent.

The property was right next to the Sydenham train station, which takes you from Bangor down to Dublin. Great communication. Ryan and partner are great people, thank you for a lovely stay.

No TV or En suite, it didn’t really bother us.

Belfast bolthole

Ease of access to train station was convenient. Room size was good. Communication was great.

The bathroom door was very heavy and noisy. Other residents were inconsiderate and didn't clean up shared facilities. Little niggle - bedding could have been ironed it looks nicer. Lamp didn't work one side of the bed. Maybe consider sticking privacy film on Windows as the blinds being down meant we had to put the light on in daytime.

Great place close to transport and the city

The guesthouse is a great location, close to the train station and also super close to the airport. The facilities were very good. Clean and had everything you could need. Ryan was very friendly and helpful! I would recommend this place for solo travellers.

Not good

Nice comfy little bedroom. The city airport isn't far, neither is the train station.

You can't have a day visitor and that's a shame. I know you are aware of this when you get the home rules that you have to accept. But you get the home rules AFTER paying and booking the room... I just had one friend, very quiet and respectful, coming over for just a few minutes, and then I quickly got a (polite) whatsapp message from the owner that my friend should get out of the house. Is he spying ? Are there hidden cameras ? It made me feel very uncomfortable.
