Everything was perfect. Location is a few minutes from Masterton centre by car. It’s rural so nice and quiet and peaceful. Our first evening we were just letting the dogs outside and we saw a Ruru (owl) fly in and land just a few metres away. The cottage was very well heated and extremely comfortable. I even forgot a pack of cards and messaged the host to see if she had any handy and she brought some over with Monopoly within a few minutes. We had chocolate and milk left for us and treats for the dogs. Everything was well thought out and kitchen was really well stocked with equipment. The price is really good for what we got in return.

A modern cottage in the countryside with all the comforts and modcons. Comfortable, warm, amazing shower pressure, peaceful outlook. Our favourite thing? Being able to bring our dog, knowing that she was both comfortable with her own doggie door, and safe, being fully fenced in. And our hosts went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was a great one. We whole heartedly recommend and would stay again in a flash!
