"Kitchen was very well planned in layout. Everything we needed was there. We loved the tapestry in the bedroom. We enjoyed our stay very much and did two large jigsaws. "

About this house rental

This 3 bdrm holiday home is set up ready for your relaxing break with family/friends. Great indoor/outdoor living with spacious covered decks and lawn space, looking out over native trees and a stream.

The kitchen is well-equipped, beds are comfortable, and the bathroom has a separate bath and shower. There is an outdoor burner on the deck to sit by and watch the stars at night. Help yourself to any seasonal greens from the garden.

For entertainment think "old school" - there's a record player, books, board games, jigsaw puzzles, building blocks, art supplies and lego (but no TV or WIFI). Beach gear and bikes in the garage free for your use. Other equipment includes child high chair and dog bed. Get in touch if you have any specific requests.

Walk to the golf club or short drive to historic Otaki and beach (great for swimming or walks). An hours drive to Wellington or Palmerston North.

Note: under kiwi holiday house tradition you do the dishes and leave the house tidy. Sheets and towels are provided (so easy for those travelling through).

Loved the polished wooden floors, plenty of books, games and well equipped kitchen. Sun streamed in the many well appointed windows, so toasty by day and cosy at night with the wood burner for a treat. Thank you for allowing a dog, he loved it too, the garden was a delight to explore. The wood burner handle seemed a bit tricky to close properly and it would have been a bonus if the spa bath had been working but hey, we still loved the luxury of a bath. Thanks again Kim for a lovely stay.
