Big, modern, and spacious

Spacious, clean, nicely decorated, perfect location for what me and the kids needed. Very modern inside. WiFi was a hit with the kids too.

Loud music from the restaurant below til 11pm both nights meant the kids struggled to get to sleep. Parking is a bit hit and miss depending on how busy the restaurant is.

Kitchen floor in very poor state cause dirt to sit in the cracks. We had a 10 month old so had to place blankets over the floor due to dust and dirt.

Apartment needs a good clean and a lot of cobwebs around ceiling and generally needs a thorough clean. No lightbulb on stairway by entrance door making it quite dangerous on the staircase leading up to entrance door.

Lovely spacious apartment for family stay

Easy to find, parking was free and easy, entry was simple. Rooms very spacious, fun decor. Kids loved it. 4 rooms was really handy with 3 kids. Host was helpful. Great price.

Music from the bar wasn’t ideal but didn’t go on too late and didn’t bother us.

Won’t book again

We should have been informed about the very loud party, until 11.30 pm. After travelling long distances we needed sleep which was impossible until the music stopped. No repairs carried out, kitchen tap still loose.

Very uncomfortable stay

The apartment was spacious with basic facilities available.

Sadly, the place wasn’t well looked after and it really affected our stay. It didn’t seem like it had been cleaned in a long time – there was dust, cobwebs and even spiders around. It was so dusty that my kids kept sneezing and had trouble sleeping, and we didn’t feel comfortable eating there at all. We were relieved we only had to put up with it overnight. The apartment might have potential, but it really needs much better care and maintenance. I took some pictures, but I feel they’d be unpleasant to share here. PS I initially shared the apartment’s condition privately with the property owner, hoping it would help the property improve and provide better experiences for future guests. Our experience was extremely disappointing. We could barely do anything that night. The oven was filthy and unusable, and the kettle had stale brown water sitting in it—we couldn’t even make a cup of tea and had to boil water in a pot instead (the only thing we 'cooked'). The children refused to eat because of the filthy environment. (we came with a bowl of cooked food). The bathroom edges were grimy at the corners and the drainage was poor. The staircase and entrance was an eyesore. We left the apartment exactly as we found it, aside from the beds not being remade and the used towels left on the beds. Our assumption was that both bedding and towels would need to be changed for the next guests—unless this is not standard practice. If it truly took the cleaning staff four hours to clean, that only highlights the level of dirt and grime we endured during our less than 12-hour stay. I also noticed that some guests had already raised concerns about the run-down condition and poor hygiene of the apartment. To support my review and ensure transparency for future guests, I have uploaded some photos I took of the apartment.

Great for families.

The property was nice and clean and had all the facilities needed for a family for a short stay. It was well located in the centre of Bedlington with close access to shops and restaurants. It was also well located in terms of further afield attractions as there’s plenty to do with a 20-30 minute drive. The kids particularly liked the free standing bath located in one of the double rooms that also has a rather large tv in it so they could watch tv in the bath. One of the few times the kids have all been happy to have a bath.

The property is in need of a little tlc but nothing that makes your stay any less comfortable or enjoyable.

One night in Northumberland

Modern apartment, very spacious, easy parking, good location. Restaurant downstairs amazing.

Cleanliness lacking. Half a roll of toilet paper left, went and bought more. Felt slightly run down and dusty.

Spacious, good parking, friendly hosts. Would recommend.

I have 4 children, 3 of which are autistic. Any SEN parent will know that finding a place to stay that your SEN children are happy with is a massive bonus. Plenty of space for each child to have their own space to regulate. Layout is good, rooms are a good size too. Sofa was comfy and good location with parking. Having a mini van as a family car it can be hard to park but had no issues.

Parts of the apartment could have been cleaner. I did request a new hoover the night of arrival as the attachments were broken and it was replaced the next morning. Despite the minor cleanliness issue we were overall happy and have already booked the apartment again for our next trip. See you again soon. Thank you for the stay.

Great host, lots of space and great value for money!

The owner was super helpful. Such good value for money and my 3 daughters were so excited to be able to have a bedroom each, and their own TV’s! Perfect accommodation for us to visit family close by. Would highly recommend!
