If you are like me, you’re probably attracted to this property based off of the price and the location. Both of these are great.

There were a few things that distracted from the overall experience during my stay here. I wanted to give an honest review, to help others prepare for their stay. As you can probably tell from the booking, this is a old apartment in a large classic building. That gives it some unique features, but also a few downsides. I found my room to be quite warm and difficult to vent the heat out of in the evening, with daytime temperature temperatures between 26 to 28C. Ultimately, I had to keep my windows cracked open during the night, and for sufficient airflow, I was unable to close the curtains. This meant that I could look up from the bed and see windows of the unit units of the apartment across and one level up from me. I don’t think they looked into the apartment and saw me sleeping, but it did make me feel somewhat exposed and vulnerable. And because you have multiple different people in different rooms, it’s hard to have the typical cross apartment ventilation that would keep all of the units cooler as people need to keep their doors closed for security. Because it’s a classic apartment, and they need to keep windows open in the summer months, I did find that I could hear many noises of doors and such from the neighbors, people walking on the walkway outside of my room’s window, and the other person staying in the apartment. So I would recommend that you bring both an eye mask and earplugs, as with the curtain being open for airflow the room started to get bright around 5 AM. Lastly, there was a little bit of an issue with the mattress, being quite saggy on 1/2, and the bathroom running out of toilet paper, without me being able to locate additional supplies. These final issues, possibly could have been addressed by the units manager, but I will admit I did not reach out to them with my concerns.

- La ubicació és molt bona. A prop del centre on hi ha molts serveis i també a prop de Kalvin Tér on hi ha la parada del bus 100E que va a l'aeroport. - Molt bona comunicació amb el propietari, sempre per missatges. - Registre d'entrada automàtic amb codis, cosa que facilita les coses. - Disseny de les habitacions molt naturals i simples. No es necessita res més. - Matalàs còmode. - Bany i WC separats, així no et molestes amb altres hostes. I també eren nets i amb aigua calenta. - Cuina comunitària simple però ben equipada.

- La neteja podria ser millor. Vaig trobar fins a 5 cabells llargs que no eren meus sobre el matalàs. - El somier del llit es desmuntava. Vaig haver de posar bé els llistons de sota dues vegades perquè el matalàs no s'enfonsés. - Les portes de la dutxa i del WC no tanquen amb clau (o almenys jo no ho vaig saber trobar), sinó que van amb una cadeneta de seguretat que deixa obrir la porta uns 10-15 cm. - Les portes, encara que estan pintades i tenen un aire nou, són velles i tanquen amb una clau que fa soroll. - L'entrada al pis, com he dit, es fa amb codi. I aquest codi fa soroll. Si et toca l'habitació del costat de la porta d'entrada, com el meu cas, sentiràs els "pips" cada vegada que entra o surt algú, encara que sigui a les 4 de la nit. Jo em vaig despertar per aquest motiu dues de les tres nits que vaig estar-hi allotjat.

I really like the location of the room. The airport express bus (100E) stops at Kalvin ter, which is a 5mins walking distance from the room. The city center touristic places are also within the walking distance (~ 15 to 20 mins). There are two metro stations, bus stops and tram stops called Astoria and Kalvin ter just close to the room. Plus there are supermarkets like Aldi, Lidl, Tesco and Spar ,and fast-food restaurants such as McDonald's, Burger King, Subway and Pizza Hut ,and cafe such as Starbucks close to the room.

I sometimes heard small noise/ felt small vibration from the tram especially at the night time (not a lot, just one to two trams). I could sleep well in the end.
