Great hotel only rooms are so small

It was acceptable for 1 night not too far from the airport. The room was clean and the A/C worked. When I arrived to checkin the electricity was out and didn't come back for a few hours. Not their fault, but was my first impression of Istanbul and wonder how often that happens. It was quite noisy which is my biggest reason I wouldn't go back. It's on a busy street with a lot of traffic. Though also there is no insulation from noise from the hall and neighbours. The room next to me must of been empty with the window left open because it's door constantly violently rattled the entire time I was there. Bad design on the door for it to move that easily from a little wind. The bed did not have a comforter or top sheet! Only the thinest light blanket. That made it difficult to sleep and I kept waking up. Had to turn off the AC as I was cold and it had no weight. Also the bathroom and shower is extremely small and too tight of a space. There is nothing in faculties, no lounge area or anywhere to hang out outside the room. There are grocery stores and restaurants in a 5-10min walk. Though despite being an airport hotel I was surprised to not notice other tourists around the area. Next time I'll prefer a hotel not on the main street and perhaps further away from the flight path. Staff was polite.
