Perfect spot to stay in Cairo and amazing host as well

The stay at Mohammad's apartment was one of the highlights of the trip. The apartment is clean, well stocked, comfortable and has all amenities including a gas stove, a washing machine and full air conditioning. Linen, towels, toiletries, utensils, cutlery all available. Fresh and varied breakfast everyday - served hot was something I looked forward to every evening of our 4 day stay. The location of the apartment could not have been better - in the heart of historic Cairo. Most major attractions in that area are walkable from the apartment. There are umpteen restaurants, convenience stores nearby and what worked best for me was abundance of Mosques where I could choose to visit a different Mosque for each prayer - each Mosque equally as magnificent and rich in history as the other. Egypt's crown jewel - Al-Azhar University, is Mosque and Park are a 5 minute walk from the apartment too. No other property in Egypt boasts of such credentials. Lastly, and most importantly, the host Mohammad. He was the best part of staying at this property. A well-read, exceedingly kind, soft spoken and responsive host - a combination I have never seen in my decades of extensive travelling. A perfect host. His proactive advise was immensely helpful to navigate Cairo's rich historical maze. He made sure to be available every day, delivered fresh breakfast himself at a time convenient to you, personally took you around the district, showed you the hidden gems and made sure you don’t overpay as a tourist. Most of all, his endearing nature makes one feel a long lost friend showed up just to make sure your trip becomes most memorable. Cannot thank Mohammad enough for everything he supported with. I will definitely stay there again when in Cairo as well as recommend it to everyone I know visiting Cairo.

Nothing at all about the property

Location was perfect. Muhamed was a wonderful, honest guide who showed us around the downtown Cairo area.

Lots of sounds during the night, which was expected in a busy area.
