Saffron Boutique Hotel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was our second stay at Saffron Boutique Hotel, and once again we had a great experience. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk from Baščaršija, Sarajevo’s historic old town and main tourist area. It’s also only about a 10-minute walk to the cable car, which takes you up to the fantastic viewpoint and the Olympic bobsleigh track on Mount Trebević. Free parking is available in the gated area in front of the hotel, which is a big advantage when traveling by car. The hotel is modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The receptionist, who we believe is also the owner, is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about his guests. Breakfast is available for an additional €9 per person and is well worth considering. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is located in a restored historic building, so there is no elevator. If you have large or heavy luggage, you’ll need to carry it up several flights of stairs. We have now stayed here twice, and we would gladly choose Saffron Boutique Hotel again on our next visit to Sarajevo.

Place was nice, very simple, but clean, and functioning.

Missing some things like microwave, fridge, wardrobe, etc

Unmittelbar an Altstadt gelegen. Absolut zentrale Lage. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Familienberieb mit sehr netter Familie. Parken im Innenhof begrenzt möglich. Etwas rangieren erforderlich, funktioniert aber. Zimmer sauber und funktionell. Kein Frühstück, aber kein Problem Frühstück in einem der nahegelegenen Restaurants zu erhalten.

Ein Stuhl im Zimmer wäre schön.

Location is perfect, just a few mins walk to the fountain. The hotel itself is wonderful, spotlessly clean and very well furnished, rooms are very aesthetic and have everything you need. Rooms were bigger than I expected too. Low key hotel which I would definitely stay at again. Owners are a lovely family and super helpful. It's close enough to local landmarks that you don't need a taxi.
