    We had such a pleasant stay here at Dowa Elegance, the place is very near to Ella and the views from property are just mesmerising, you can stay at property whole day and have a leisure time. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Will recommend to everyone

    The location has a spectacular view and the staff are super duper friendly as well . The rooms are humungous . I would recommend to stay here for min 2 nights . FYI it’s about 20 mins uphill from the main ella market . But the altitude helps in the view .Highly recommend this place.

    “Stunning resort, but tricky access!” Pros: The resort is amazing. The rooms and the atmosphere are fantastic once you arrive. Cons/Notes: • Location: It is a bit far from the city center and high up a hill. • Access: The road is broken. Sedan cars cannot reach the property. You must arrange a TukTuk or a vehicle with high ground clearance for the last leg of the journey.

    Pros: stunning views of hills from bed and balcony. Cons: * very old and dated furniture in rooms. * no hot water as tank shared with another room. * no heater provided * towels missing * mosquito repellent not provided * rubble on paths as building site * Road to hotel is not flat * Broken furniture in rooms * staff spoke very little English so problems communicating. * too far from city centre (10 mins drive not walking distance) Pathways to rooms are not lit * general maintenance and cleaning is poor
