The Rustic Manor - We stayed here for 2N3D and here is our feedback divided into Best, Good, Bad, Worst points. BEST: A pretty new property, built in 2024. Location is also very good, amidst nature, forest, waterfalls, tea garden, mountains. The prices/room charges are also very good. GOOD: The staffs attitude is very good and humble. Always smiling and ready to help. Food taste is also very good. BAD: We had done an advance booking for the cottage. Paid full in advance. Checkin time was 11.00 AM. Despite that, we reached the stay around 5.30PM. The staff would have got ample time to keep the rooms neat & tidy and ready for us for immediate move-in. BUT, no - Even when we reached late, we were asked to wait for 15-20 mins outside because the room was not ready. And when it was ready (atleast according to them), the room welcomed us with wet mats, carpet drenched in water due to bathroom water not draining properly and not dried. The whole bathroom water was coming out and making the whole room, carpets, floor wet. I dont know what they were doing the whole day. The entire stay has only 5 rooms to cater to and on those specific dates, only 3 families checked in, but still the rooms were not ready or maintained for guests. Second point is food. They have only 3-4 items for food, not a spread as you expect. Their inhouse food/tea is tasty but will be always served cold. They have a microwave as well in kitchen but i am not sure whether they use it. All the 3days our food was served cold. If you ask them to order some additional items, they can arrange it for you BUT trust me thats's not a good idea. Because, they will charge you more price, food taste will be bad and on top of that, it will be served cold. So better to rely on their inhouse items or you bring food from outside on your own while returning to the resort. The room intercom phone also doesn't work and you need to always rely on the wifi network they have, which itself had network connection issues. WORST: The day we arrived the room welcomed us with full wet floor/carpets/mats drenched from undrained bathroom water. The ceiling was already occupied by a giant pink colored snail (we had to call them to get it kicked out). The pillows provided were having huge fungus infestation on them and unaware we slept on it the whole night, later discovering the fungus on the other side, next day morning. On the day of checkout, despite informing them before hand, we had to wait for the staff for 1 hr (delaying our journey) to arrive on the site. I moved my luggage myself to the car, searched the entire area for any staff to come and help us and initiate the checkout process, but no one was there. Phone Network is also not there and co-incidentally the wifi network was also down to contact them. After waiting for 1 hr, and blowing the car horn multiple times, one of their staff popped up from somewhere and then we checked out. In summary, the property is good with decent affordable room charges. For the price we paid, it was decent enough. If the Owner wants to have a good business, then they need to focus on the management, customer service, room maintenance, pest control and hygiene. The property is currently new so its good for now but eventually it will be ruined, if its maintained in the same way. TIP: Do not take their budget hut room. you cannot stay there :) Consider the cottage, or the other big rooms.

Good ambience, very professional and well experienced and proactive staff. Yummy food served with love and care. You will fell like it's your own home.

Our room was not neat and clean, cutlery were not properly clean (when I cut idli with knife there were black markings resembling fungus), pool was also not cleaned (they don't have machine to clean the pool. They do it manually) and there were red marks on bedsheet and bed. Horrible experience. We have taken better property at almost the same price with more breathtaking view.
