About this house rental
Make yourself at home in this 4-bedroom 2.5 bath Jungle Retreat, within the secure gated community of Alazan. This fantastic house boasts 7 beds total: 1 king bed and 4 queen beds, along with 2 full sized beds as bunk beds, perfect for a group getaway. 15 minutes from Playa Banderas, 45 minutes to either Manuel Antonio or Jaco. With amenities like AC and dual system WiFi, (fiber optic and StarLink) guests can stay connected and comfortable. The 3 bathrooms feature a bidet, shower, and bathtub for added convenience. Experience the magic of Costa Rica directly above the jungle, with access trails into the 50 acre reserve immediately behind. Also available at the house are (for additional fees): daily maid services, laundry services on request, food delivery, grocery shopping in advance or welcome fruit baskets, breakfasts and dinners made with love by our local caretaker family. Check in services during daylight hours (after hours for a small additional fee) are available along with 24 hour maintenance and house operation support.
Alazan is a small community built upon ideals of sustainability and the house reflects this. The fruit and flower gardens attract birds, butterflies and animals all watered with an artisanal spring well system. The power system is backed up with a generator system which is maintained and ready to turn on at the turn of a key, or turn off the lights and enjoy the sounds of nature.
Though the house is well lit and built on stilts to be above the "critters", they can be seen from the wrap around porch or from each room in the house. The floors and walls are wrapped in lush teak and other hardwoods, with granite countertops, electric oven gas 5 burner top, ice maker, and large refrigerator.
The house is accessible most easily with AWD or 4 x4 vehicles. It can easily sleep 12 and entertain 30 people. It is particularly well suited for a large group wanting to get away from it all or to have a healthy retreat. The bedrooms are very well insulated with separate AC units in each room. The insulation is great for efficiency and also making each room a quiet sanctuary from each other.
