Casa Jenga is a roomy, 4-bedroom, 3-bath beachfront home located on Playa Esterillos Este. The home has a spectacular view of the ocean from the rancho, covered patio and pool. Listen to the waves roll in as you lull to sleep in the poolside hammock. Purchase fresh fish from local fishermen, and enjoy ocean breezes and spectacular sunsets while you dine outdoors at the picnic table or indoors at the dining room table! There is a covered patio with BBQ, in the backyard, too!

This home is the perfect retreat for families wanting a private beachfront home. There is no road between the house and the beach...just walk out the back gate and you're on the beach. We have a couple of benches out on the beach to sit on and watch the sunset. It is a great beach for strolling...walk south along the beach to Playa Bejuco or north to Esterillos Centro, or Esterillos Oeste.

Casa Jenga surpassed our expectations. It was impeccably clean, the kitchen well equipped, and the bedrooms as well as the living areas are airy and spacious. The wide porch provides plenty of outdoor living space for lounging, reading, or just enjoying the view. If you are looking for a place that feels like the OG Costa Rica instead of a tourist spot, this is it. My only (minor) complaint is that I did not receive arrival instructions until the morning of our arrival day (after messaging via the vrbo app and whatsapp); since we were coordinating several families, it would’ve been nice ro receive the info the day before. All in all we loved Casa Jenga and hope to return soon!

This house is in the most peaceful beach area. The beach is pure sand and the pool is perfect to get out of the heat. There is a restaurant bar a few houses down that was convenient. The house was very clean and the outdoor area is very large and private. We had a blast and would stay there again. We did bring portable fans since it does not have a/c. It was extremely hot so those really helped make our nights better. The ceiling fans worked great but it was just a very hot time so we stayed in the pool and beach most of the hotter hours of the day. The views and the peaceful atmosphere are like no other. We had two families with little ones and we all had a comfy bed and plenty of space.

This house is great. The location is amazing. Right on the beach. Very few people on the beach so it feels private all the time. Ocean is very safe to swim. The house does not have hot water. No blankets on the beds only sheets. Bring from home. Seating is not comfortable. No loungers by the pool. So very hard to relax. We are here for 5 weeks and I would think about coming back because the price is good but it would be nice if it was more comfortable. The caretaker is great. There is a small washer no dryer, which would be fine except for all the rain. We finally went to Jaco to have someone wash my clothes. Best way to do it. If your not looking for fancy this is the place. It is very clean and the grounds are clean. The property managers are very helpful. Any problem they get right on it.
