This is an entire duplex unit with individual front porch and privately fenced in backyard. During construction sound proofing was installed to the shared wall between both duplex units. Sound proofing is excellent but there will be an occasional thud heard. For this reason, both bedrooms have sound machines to use as desired!

We use convenient personalized keyless smart lock entry for self check-in, details provided prior to arrival.
• Early check-ins or late check-outs:
If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival we will do our best to get you in early.
Late check-outs past 11am must be confirmed with owners prior to the date of departure.

We have you covered and have plenty of waste bags to use! Simply toss the used waste bag in the outdoor garbage container. There is a $20 per night pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs, owner permission required prior to stay.
Pet owners will be pleased to find a welcoming environment for furry friends, complete with dog bowls, waste bags, and a treat jar to keep tails wagging.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this Cape Charles property. The hosts were attentive and welcoming, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and the house itself was so cute and cozy. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants. We’d definitely stay here again!

The hosts are extremely welcoming and warm, clearly see dogs as family - they have everything to make both puppies and humans feel safe and welcome.The neighborhood is quiet, serene, walkable to everything. The town is family friendly and fun.

We had a great time! House was very clean. Very accurate to what we saw in the listing. Almost everything was within walking distance: 2 blocks to Main St which had great restaurants/shops/ice cream, 3 blocks to the beach, and 1 block to a great public park for dog walking, soccer, playground, and fountain with splash pad. Beach was excellent for paddle boarding or floats, sand was soft, and kids loved finding hermit crabs. Great front porch for morning coffee. Outdoor shower was awesome for after a day at the beach. I would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed staying here for a week in Cape Charles. The house is just as pictured, lovely and perfect size for our family of 4. We enjoyed the private back yard and the fun selection of games for the kids. We forgot our beach umbrella so we are grateful Courtney and Chip have stocked the shed with beach equipment! They are thoughtful hosts and all the small touches they have thought of made all the difference in our stay. Highly recommend this house and Chip & Courtney as hosts.
