Down By The Bay - Cape Charles -1st Floor Primary

It was a blessing to stay in this historic bungalow, Down By the Bay! It had everything we needed for a getaway for 4 adults and our sweet pup. The location of the property is quiet and very convenient to the bay, shops, the park, and restaurants. We highly suggest renting a golf cart and not moving your car at all during your stay...so fun! Cape Charles is such a quaint, lovely, and friendly town!The living room is so comfortable and cozy, the dining room has ample space for meals and games, and the kitchen has plenty of room and has all the dishes and supplies you need. Upstairs is so unique with a den area, 4 different bedding options and even a cute frig; it's definitely a great space for older kids. We love that the home retains a lot of original features but has been updated with a modern feel. The outdoor space is so perfect! The outdoor furniture is comfortable and the fenced in yard is just right for dogs. The outdoor shower is a nice touch. Although we did not use them, there are a lot of items in the shed for your trip to the beach. The host was very accommodating, quick to respond, and very kind. Thank you so much for letting us stay! Christina was a great host!Very responsive and worked with us on special requests. This house is in the perfect location and quiet street/neighborhood. The fenced backyard was delightful for us and the dogs. A variety of games and outdoor items. The first floor bedroom was exactly what we needed AND a king bed!We will be back

This was the CUTEST house we have ever stayed at. Our family of 5 and our dog loved everything about it. The kids (college age - middle school) enjoyed staying upstairs together and made wonderful memories. They loved riding bikes to the shops and beach and we enjoyed being able to bring our dog along. The house was beautifully decorated, laid out well, and also very comfortable. We prayed that the weather would warm up and God blessed us with sunny days on the beach! The host was extremely accomodating and responded quickly to my messages. Thank you! We hope to return to Cape Charles again and stay in the same house.

We had a very comfortable stay with our dog. The neighborhood is very walkable and pet-friendly. The beds and furniture were all very comfy. Close to restaurants and shops in the downtown area.
