About this house rental
Enjoy this 4-bedroom lakeside haven at the best lake around! Great Bear Lake is one of the nicest all sport lakes in Southwest Michigan with an average depth of 30 feet and a clean sandy bottom. Escape to this lake house retreat that comes with a private beach and pontoon boat, fully furnished kitchen, 4 bedrooms (sleeps 18), and beautiful dining and living room with plenty of seating. Create a memorable experience with family and friends.
Boat:
Pontoon Boat will be included with your stay (4 night minimum from June-September)
The outside of the home features a large patio with tables and chairs that overlook the lake.
Private walkout Beach (in full sun) with sandy bottom swim area.
Foam Swim Pad (Lily pad) to play on.

We have plenty of Lifejackets Sizes: baby’s - xxl
Boat:
Pontoon Boat will be included with your stay (4 night minimum from June-September)
Guests will be responsible to fill gas tank upon departure.(Gas cans will be provided).
If you want to fish, please bring your own fishing gear. Fishing is great! Catch Largemouth, Perch, Northern, Bluegill, and Crappie right off of the dock. 16 and older will need to purchase a fishing license.
Fire pit = There will be enough firewood to last all week (If you need more, there will be an extra $50.00 charge)
Grill= Charcoal (you will need to provide your own charcoal)
Beach Towels:
Please bring your own. We will have a couple "emergency" towels.
During the week, you will practically have the lake to yourselves. Plus it’s not that crowded on the weekend either.

All bedrooms are clean and have zip-up waterproof mattress covers on them. There are also covers on the pillows as well. Each bedroom comes with a smart TV.

We had a wonderful time and the house couldn’t have been better. Had everything you could think of, even small details like a high chair and baby gate, but all decent shampoo, smore roasters, aluminum foil and baggies, paddle boards and kayaks. And the pantoon boat was a nice add. The lake was big enough to be fun but small enough to feel safe. We stayed with three families with kids age 1 to 15. The garage and ping pong was a favorite hang out too!

Our family had an amazing long weekend at this place! We rented it for a summer end getaway before school and fall. It was perfect. The home was as described. Well stocked and clean with plenty of space to spread out with our 4 grandchildren and our children. The lakefront is ideal for young kids with a nice sandy beach area and shallow waters to play in. There is a great fire pit area and the bonus, the lake with the pontoon boat. We all enjoyed that and spent as much time on the lake as possible. The amenities were well thought out as is the living space. The home is located in a nice neighborhood. The bedrooms were all spacious and comfy. We had great communication with our hosts and everything was super relaxing and easy. A definite five plus stars!! We have found our family getaway!!

This property exceeded all of our expectations. They have everything you would need for a lake trip. There are multiple places to socialize within the property, a fabulous fire pit, kayaks, paddle board, pontoon boat, and a garage with a ping-pong table in a fun living area. Excellent communication from the owners. a five star all the way.

The house was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed. The sandy beach was great. Fishing off the dock was amazing! My 6 yr old granddaughter was the fishing champ! She caught a turtle, catfish, bass, gar, and multiple Blue gills! The older boys really enjoyed the kayaks. The one night that it rained, everyone hung out on n the garage. Everyone had the best time! Would definitely recommend!
