About this house rental
Saddle Lake is a 298 acre, All Sports Lake. You can see the sunrise and sunset! Our home feels like a cabin and a lake house...best of both worlds! It offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space to host large groups. There are separate spaces to give all age groups their own area to hang out. You can bring your own boat, and we have a large pontoon boat available for rent separately. It is $200 per night of your stay. We don’t offer daily or partial stay rates.
The main floor has 3 bedrooms, one of which has a private entrance off the deck and is also accessible through the garage. We have a large primary suite with a full bathroom, and the other main floor bedroom also has direct access to a shared full bath.
The main floor has an open concept with a large kitchen, snack bar that seats 4, two dining tables that seat 6 each, and living room with Dish Network TV.
There is a large mudroom with lots of storage. Here you will find extra life jackets, folding chair and tables if needed, cooler, etc. The laundry is also located on the main floor off the mudroom, and there is an extra shower and toilet. Easy access to the deck and makes a great place to clean up after spending time down at the lake.
The upstairs is a large bunk room with a queen and 4 twin beds. This room has a cabin feel and each twin bed is in its own little alcove. There is a TV with DVD only available in this room.
The lower level is a walk out basement. It is a large open room with 3 bunk beds, a king size bed, pool table, kids play area, TV with Dish Network and 2 couches.
The deck is huge! We have a table that seats 6, one that seats 4, and two conversation sets which seat an additional 8.
We have 2 kayaks available for your use, as well as a swim platform. The swimming area is shallow and sandy. There is plenty of room in our large yard for games
We have a fire pit down by the lake, and we keep some firewood on site. If you need more, there is usually firewood for sale right down the road. We have 8 adult size Adirondack chairs and several little kid size chairs. Bring camp chairs if you need more seating.
We have two 5-burner propane grills , as well as several grill tools (located in the kitchen).
Bring your own beach towels.

We hosted a small wedding here and the location is gorgeous. Janis and her family have a beautiful home with so much space and amenities. The house and property were bigger than we expected and the house and linens were immaculate! Plenty of bathrooms, chairs, and space! Thank you again for the amazing experience!

We had a larger group, 14 of us and we enjoyed everything. The house was amazing, the hosts were amazing and the location was great!!!!!! We had the best time.

Myself and other women graduate students stayed here for a writing retreat. The property was clean and as pictured- a beautiful get-a-way with solid internet and plenty of space for a dozen folks to work with beautiful views. Very close to South Haven for more beach vibes, and lots of toys and such for families with kids! Would recommend and stay here again.

This home has it all! We made the home our "base of operations" for my wife's 40th birthday party and it did not disappoint. We had 17 adults stay in the home and at no point did it ever feel cramped or crowded. Granted, we spent most of our time outside, which was also amazing. The deck gazebo was an absolute hit, and a great relief from the sun throughout the weekend. The hosts, Janice and David, were incredible. Incredible attentive and responsive, they did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We did have an issue with the pontoon boat stalling, but Janice and David refunded me immediately (without me asking for it) to recitfy the situation. I could not recommend this property more. If you are looking for something close to South Haven, but far enough way to feel "remote," this is your place. 5 stars all the way around.
