Villa in Ardouane, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc, Voie Verte

Family house, located 50 m from the Passa Païs Greenway, in the charming hamlet of Ardouane, in the heart of the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park. The house is next to hiking trails including the 1000 steps trail, 50 meters from a river, ideal for cooling off. The villa, made of stone, can accommodate up to 6 people and a baby (all equipment is provided). On the first floor, there is a large living room with open kitchen (fully equipped), a living/dining room, a stove, ideal for small fires, a "games room" with table football, table tennis, darts, as well as toilets. Upstairs, you will find 3 large bedrooms: a children's bedroom with bunk bed and sleigh bed as well as many toys, a queen size bedroom with TV, a master bedroom with wooden cot and changing table. In the hallway, there is a library and board games. At the end of the hallway, there is the bathroom and the toilet (separate). Sheets and towels are provided at no extra charge. Beds are made on arrival. Wifi throughout the house, perfect for teleworking.
At the back of the house, a "garden furniture" area allows you to have meals outside. You will also have the garden, going down to the river on the left. There is a hut on stilts with slide and garden furniture.
The villa is in a small quiet hamlet 2min from Riols (10 min by bike by the greenway) where you will find a very good bakery, a butcher, a grocery store, a florist, post office, stadium, city stadium, tennis court. In Saint-Pons-de-Thomières there are all the shops, a pleasant typical market on Wednesday mornings, a magnificent cathedral of the twelfth century (remarkable organ), a museum of Prehistory, a cinema. Olargues, the most beautiful village in France is a few kilometers away, as is Minerva known for its history with the Cathars, as well as our magnificent Caroux massif, ideal for its hiking, its swimming places, canoeing base, its breathtaking views.
Very beautiful cave of the Fileuse de Verre 15 minutes from the house.
20 minutes away, there is the plateau of lakes (with passes at 1000m) where swimming places are set up... and many mushroom forests:)
The villa is 1 hour from Castres, Béziers, Narbonne and the Mediterranean Sea (Valras-Plage), 1h30 from Montpellier and 2 hours from Toulouse.
