The little blue house in the medieval village

Lovely little village with idyllic swimming river and good restaurants. Absolutely loved visiting the Gorge d'Heric. The house had everything we needed, and we particularly enjoyed having a balcony with shade for long lazy breakfasts and dinners. Thomas was a very attentive host.

My husband and I had a wonderful week at La Petite Maison Bleue. Thomas provided excellent communication (in English for me) and was a call/text away whenever needed. The house has old world charm but is fully restored with all of the modern conveniences. It truly feels like home away from home right in the heart of the village. The bedding was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils for cooking for a group. There is a sitting area and a game room, making it ideal for a family or group of friends to spread out. The village is quaint and peaceful. We took long walks each morning on the Voie Vert (Greenway) and nighttime strolls to the Pont du Diable to look a the stars. The house sits near the top of the pedestrian-only part of the village, so be prepared to walk uphill on cobbled streets from the carpark (host provides a cart to help if necessary, but we were fine with our suitcases on wheels). We definitely plan to stay again on our next visit to Olargues!
