About this house rental
Stone house with heated swimming pool and magnificent view on the classified village of ROQUEBRUN (Hérault 34), on the edge of the beautiful river Orb, 30 minutes north of Béziers and 40 minutes from the sea.
200 m2 habitable for 12 people with possibility to accommodate 14 people. Heated swimming pool from May to October, depending on the weather, with swimming against the current, whirlpools, night lighting, swimming pool view (see photos). Large terrace with deck chair, deckchairs, plancha. Large electric awning on the terrace of 5m30 by 3m50.
Large living room and small living room with flat screen TV, dvd player, Blu Ray with a whole dvd theca varied, Playstation 3 (video games).
Secure pool for children with the possibility of removing the safety barriers.
Umbrella beds for infants, bathtub for baths.
Direct access to the river Orb for a swim in the ruins of an old mill, or on the beach opposite, overlooking the beautiful village of ROQUEBRUN. Massage under the waterfalls, a great moment of pleasure for the whole family (see photos)
Bases of canoe in the village, mini-market, several restaurants, pizzeria, wine bar, several cellars selling the excellent wine of Roquebrun.
Roquebrun is a village of Mediterranean climate. However, it has a microclimate. The village is sheltered by hills to the north, east and west. This microclimate in which grow orange, grenadiers and mimosas, earned him the nickname of Petit Nice. The mimosas are in bloom in February.

We had a wonderful stay here enjoying the beautiful terrace and pool, and the warm welcome by Marc.Location is perfect near the river, and the house itself is spacious, endearing and comfortable.

Lovely location - right by the river - perfect for adults, teenagers, kids and dogs. Some lovely restaurants within walking distance. Very pretty.
House is nice but could definitely benefit from a bit of a spruce. Garden furniture all needs a good clean - tatty cushions outside. Kitchen well equipped for 14 although missing any large glasses. Pillows on beds need updating. No air conditioning which made it difficult on hot days/nights but lots of fans provided. Good area for dining. Pool quite small and no pool lights for evenings.
Rubbish needs to be sorted into recyclable and general waste - and basically taken out every day - we were not provided with the key card to access the larger hatch for general waste - which meant posting individual bits through a small postbox contraption in the side.
Plenty of space for 12. Kayaking very close and a lovely way to spend the day.
