About this house rental
An old 17th-century house, built of stone and wood, recently renovated.
The house is divided into two floors connected by an external staircase from the balcony, typical of the Divedro Valley. Each floor is almost an apartment. There are two bedrooms in total, one of which also has a living area, and a living room with an open kitchen: oven, 1 electric burner, and a rice cooker. One full bathroom and one half. Two balconies and two storage rooms, sleeping 6 in total, ideal for a large family or two families sharing a room.
The house is located on the main street of the village, easily accessible by train without having to take a car. Nearby are historic bars, a grocery store, the post office, the town hall, and finally the Varzo Cathedral.
Varzo is a historic village in upper Piedmont, hosting numerous village festivals, exhibitions, and concerts. It offers a diverse cultural life as well as enchanting walks. Just a stone's throw from Switzerland; It is an ideal destination for the Veglia Devero Natural Park, the Premia spa, the San Domenico ski slopes, Lake Maggiore and the panoramic journey on the Vigezzina train through 100 valleys.

We loved our stay here! The house is super unique with lots of historic charm, and it really feels like stepping back in time. The location couldn’t be better—right in the middle of the old town, just a few steps from a butcher, pubs, and little shops.The two floors make the place both cozy and private, and the surroundings are beautiful. The whole town has that 17th-century charm that makes wandering around a joy. The host was also very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a special and memorable stay!
