The flat Casa del Sole is located on the top floor of an ancient house, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the stone roofs of the village and the surrounding mountaintops. Renovation works ended in July 2018. The flat, served by a satellite-controlled wi-fi system, is made up of:
A spacious living-room with two double sofa-beds, a large dinner table with 8 comfortable seats, a kitchenette with induction cooker, a fridge and a powerful pellet stove.
2 bedrooms, a spacious one with a double bed and period furniture (chest of drawers and two built-in wardrobes) heated by a gas convector. The other one is a cute bedroom with a period single bed and a small bookcase; if needed, a further bed can be added.
The bathroom has a 90x90 cm shower cubicle with thermostatic shower column, basin, toilet, bidet and a handy towel warmer. An up-to-date 80 liter boiler supplies hot water. Hairdryer, soap, bath foam, shampoo and a first-kit available.
At the entrance of the flat there is a mud-room, a convenient space to leave your boots, skis, backpacks and so on.
The wooden floors and ceilings give the flat the distinctive warm and cozy atmosphere you can expect in a mountain house.
Casa del Sole supplies bed linen, towels, tablecloths, dishcloths, tableware, detergents.
Also, you will find literature about the area, public utilities, books and parlor games.
The flat can accommodate up to 8 people.
It can be reached walking along the one and only street in Campello Monti, the "Gassa". The cars shall be parked - free of charge - at the entrance of the village.

CAMPELLO MONTI
Starting your trip from Omegna, you will get to the end of the wild Valstrona (the Strona valley) where you will find this unexpectedly elegant village.

Campello Monti is an interesting village for various reasons: historically, because of its Walser origins; for its natural setting, at the border between high Valsesia and high Valstrona natural parks; for its geological relevance, because it is located exactly on the insubric line.

More importantly, if you want to fully take advantage of all the remarkable characteristics of this place, you can go in for sport a lot, making enchanting excursions to the neighboring mountaintops, suitable for everyone, from a skyrunner to a more contemplative mind, for groups and for families.
Campello Monti is also a classical stage for the numerous hikers who take part to the GTA (Grande Traversata delle Alpi - Great Alps Crossing).
The inn "The peak of Capezzone" is open during summer. Its restaurant offers typical local cuisine, pizza and delicious home-made cakes. Also, you can buy tasty cheese and fresh eggs from the local farmers.

A special remark about winter, when the road is closed to car transit for the last 4 km of the road to the village, and it is the time when this area becomes a paradise for ski-tourism lovers and snowshoe hikers, in a wild and unique environment: defining it mystical would not be an exaggeration. Therefore, also in winter, the house will be ready to welcome you.

Campello represents the exact opposite of a fashionable, loud, showy holiday. Here you will be able to renew yourself, both body and mind, by doing or ... not doing, it is just the same: the pace, here, is up to you.

The apartment, which can accommodate a maximum of 8 people, can be reached on foot along the only via di Campello Monti, La Gassa, after having parked the car for free at the entrance of the town.
