    So I wanted to see Mt. Fuji and booked this accommodation since it was affordable for my wallet. The host doesn’t speak English. He did his best to use a translator and lucky for me I understood Mandarin (he’s non Japanese) but used translator too to reply him. Bcs I wanted to see Mt. Fuji, I had to rent a bike. Just outside of the accommodation there are few bicycles for rent but you need an app or visit their website to use. He told me he has his own ‘bicycles’ which he offered to rent at a cheaper price. I said yes and he dropped me off further down the road. Okay, now I gotta cycle all the way up again 🙄. I’m telling you the elevations are so steep. It really tested my endurance and the electric motor barely assisted me. Not forget to mention, I was carrying my camera gears and wearing skinny jeans 💀. Well, safe to say I made it. I saw Mt. Fuji 🥺 🗻 There’s a kitchen where you can cook or prep your meals. Also a 7Eleven nearby which is very convenient. At night, it’s pretty dark outside. Feels like a 2000s Japanese horror movie but remember, this is a random neighborhood in a small town. If you prefer restaurants or stores or cafes nearby pick somewhere else. If you want to stay here, do bring your own foods.

    The apartment is well equipped, is clean and great overall. There's a 7 eleven just outside and it's close to Fuji-Q highland. Everything is as advertised, only the QR code for line didn't work, but the owner showed up quickly to help with check-in. There is some language barrier but it's okay with a translator

    916旅の宿 is definitely one of the best places to stay near Mount Fuji. The hotel is well located, and famous spots like Lake Kawaguchi are easily reachable by taxi or bicycle (not ideal by walking). We rented bicycles directly from the hotel caretaker, and that experience was amazing. The ride was extremely scenic and beautiful, with Mount Fuji views along the way—truly memorable. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom, toilet, and kitchen are shared, but they are well-maintained and spacious enough, including a proper dining area. You can even get a slight view of Mount Fuji from the balcony, which is a lovely bonus. And if you’re worried about food, no tension—there’s a 7-Eleven right next to the property, so snacks and meals are easily available anytime. Overall, a great stay for travelers looking to explore Mount Fuji comfortably and affordably. Highly recommended!

    location is very good, next to 711 which runs 24 hours; 15 minutes walk to FujiQ-highland, 20 minutes walk to 新倉山浅間公園 (it takes 5 minutes by taxi.) We live at 2nd floor which are two rooms apartment. We cooked simple dinner in the kitchen and ate in the living room, very comfortable. You can even wash clothes and try at the balcony. The only noicy is the AC, making noice every few minutes or ten minutes, depends on how much degree you set. I still recommend this place. After all, there's no perfect place.
