La struttura è accogliente e i proprietari gentilissimi. La colazione è ottima ed è stato l’unico alloggio in tutto il Perù dove alla reception si poteva chiedere un asciuga capelli. L’acqua della doccia è calda e l’alloggio si trova a circa 10 min a piedi dalla piazza principale.

Relatively close to the Plaza de Armas about 12min walk. The young lady who cleaned the rooms was very friendly and took good care of the rooms. Shower always had hot water. The staff at front desk are very friendly and helpful with carrying luggage, especially when having to climb multiple flights of stairs to the room. They have breakfast, but it’s quite basic. I had to ask for eggs and they finally agreed to making one. They have fruit, ham, cheese, marmalade, bread, and tea/coffee.

The worst part here is the level of noise. It’s unbelievable how ignorant some travelers are yelling and talking loudly, slamming doors one after the other after the other at very early hours of the morning from 3am to 6:30am, as if nobody else is trying to sleep in the building. Bed was not very comfortable, but was ok. Room is quite cold, but ok with 3 thick blankets on. The front desk staff were very uneducated about the 18% IVA tax only pertaining to guests who are from Peru, not foreigners, and insisted that it needed to be paid. They finally were amenable to not paying the tax as I showed them the information from the Peru government stating that IVA tax does not get charged to foreign tourists (those not citizens of Peru), but this was after wasting a lot of time of explaining and waiting until the following day to pay the remainder of bill. It’s curious how many tourists they are taking advantage of and charging unnecessary taxes not owed! Breakfast was a bit small- staff only wanted to cook one egg when I asked for 2.
