    Although it’s evident that this hotel has seen many wonderful years and is aging, it is an acceptable choice. The staff is very sweet and ready to accommodate. It is clean and comfortable. And it is extremely well positioned. The view of the water right from the patio door is a added bonus

    Large clean room and bathroom at a good price. Comfortable beds, nice ac. Good for stargazing: dark sky. Fridge, microwave, good wifi. Waterview from back deck. Funky geodesic domes alongside entry road. Not a resort but good hub for Cabot trail day trips.

    Have stayed here several times. It's a quick get-away for a change of scenery. Great location. Great guy that owns the place. Heads-up though--if you're sensitive to scents the laundry detergent (I'm guessing that's what it is) is quite fragrant. The bedding and pillows seem heavily scented. I needed to take an anti-histamine.
