A very comfortable stay with great location and excellent walkability. The room was a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful. A god option for the area with fair value for money.

This is a hostel, but not a youth hostel. There is a shared bathroom with numerous toilets and showers and sinks. No one else was ever showering when I wanted to take a shower. The staff were very helpful and gave us our room early even though they didn't have to. Very reasonable price. Very good location.

Last minute booking. Sorted us out and accommodated our needs over and above. Rooms and bathrooms clean. Signage positive.

I must say, this wasn’t my best hotel stay. Obviously, some of the problems were due to my own oversight. I booked the accommodation without realising that the bathrooms and living areas were shared. When I arrived in my room, I also discovered that there was no air conditioning, just a fan. While I understand that electricity costs may be a concern, this wasn’t what I expected when I made the booking. I had assumed the room would be air-conditioned. Things became even more complicated when I went to take a shower. I accidentally took my house keys instead of my room key and locked myself out of my room. To make matters worse, there was no night manager on duty. Although a mobile number was provided for emergencies, there was no landline phone available to call it. I hadn’t brought my mobile phone with me because I was just going to the bathroom, and I obviously couldn’t leave it outside while taking a shower. The whole situation was quite ridiculous. Fortunately, there was a friendly French guest who kindly helped me contact the manager using his mobile phone. The manager arrived very promptly, and I’m very grateful for his assistance.otherwise if I couldn’t find anyone to help I would have to sleep in the shared living room. My main suggestion for improvement would be to provide a landline phone that guests can use to contact the manager in an emergency. Not everyone carries their mobile phone with them when going to the bathroom or taking a shower, so having a landline available would be much more practical. The positive aspect of my stay was the friendly staff. One of the staff members emailed me before my arrival to ask about my room preferences and also left me a message. The manager who came to assist me was very friendly as well, and I really appreciated their help. It would also help if Agoda if able to highlight in their site that accomodation with shared facilities because I wasn't able to tell from the website.
