Sun and Stars house

We (couple active seniors) loved our stay at Sun and Stars - it lives up to its name. The apartment is on the second floor (there is a lift) in a block of 12 apartments in this small town which feels very ‘Spanish’. Access instructions are very clear (video and key box). There is secure underground parking - one designated car space. Location is excellent- supermarkets, lovely beach, cafes, restaurants all within 4 min walk. 1min walk to bus stop - good service north and south. We explored much of the lovely coast on foot and by bus - worth noting that while we were there, sea swimming from Los Gigantes to the south was red flagged due to swell, but the beach at Playa San Juan remained green or yellow. The balcony(about 1x4m) has a wind-out canopy and room for 2 chairs and a small table. It gets sun all day (mid feb). The view is slightly sideways due to building opposite but is nevertheless very good, especially at sunset. The apartment interior is simply furnished with sufficient amenities - there is a kettle. The bed is firm but comfortable. WiFi is good and free

There are no consumables (condiments, cling film etc.) and the provided free toiletries are very small. Contrary to some descriptions there is no on-site cafe or a private beach.

The location was excellent, in a quiet town with a great beach. It was a good starting point for exploring the island by car. The kitchen was well equipped and sitting on the balcony was pleasant. The beds were comfortable except for the pillows. Communication with the host was good.

The only thing missing were garbage bags.
