Stylish 2 bed, central city apartment & free park

The apartment was a unique and stylish inner city stay with a bonus free parking spot. Great location and easy walk to local places. Our lovely hosts were very thoughtful with treats which made us feel right at home. We even made our own yummy barista coffees each morning in the well equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location was great and it was helpful to have a parking spot next door. It was spacious and comfortable and we cooked and used the laundry facilities.

Host was great. The apartment itself is spacious, and their preparation of it is ideal, with milk, juice, and cookies in the fridge, towels folded at the foot of the bed, with soap and a little chocolate. All of that is great, BUT....

THE NOISE is not their fault, but is really unfortunate. The apartment is right there on ground level with no entryway or anything between you and the party-people or the drunks. The outside door opens right into the living room. The noise of the street, you don't hear from the bedrooms so much since the bedrooms are on the opposite side from the street. The bigger noise problem was some kind of huge industrial fan going VRUM-VRUM-VRUM-VRUM-VRUM super loudly from 8pm to midnight in the neighbouring building attached to the master bedroom. A big bassy rumble shaking the walls, making it impossible to sleep until thankfully it stopped. Also, both nights I stayed there, someone outside tried to open the door in the middle of the night! Sounded like a real break-in attempt, kind of scary, but stopped after a minute. We had triple-bolted the door from inside before bed. Still, took a while to fall back asleep after that scare, both nights.
