Very clean hotel and great location.

On the day of checkout, the caretaker, armenian-russian speaker only, who lives in the basement with his watchdog, who is also pretty elderly, breaks the minute when it comes to sending you away from the hotel. As we arrive at the main entrance, he asks to settle the bill in russian, and from the moment I ask him if I could pay with the card, he, in Russian, tells me that you can only pay in cash (fortunately, I had a "smattering of russian"). Then I have to look for an ATM, and he takes the backpack off my shoulders and keeps it as a pledge then I have to look for an ATM until I came back.After a few hundred meters in the pouring rain, I find an ATM, but it doesn't read my card, and then I'm forced to return to the basement by the elderly man waiting for me with his guard dog at the entrance of his space; I had a hard time explaining to him in Russian that I needed another card that I had left in the backpack that he held so tightly at the entrance of the basement between 10 centimeters of door opening and the mouth of his guard dog so as not to risk me taking away the pledge. So I give the money to the man, that also took the rest as if he was taken that as granted and he says goodbye...I want to add that as I arrive in the room, thare was a small empty fridge without even a bottle of water inside, so before arriving, be sure to bring some water for the night. An interesting adventure here in Armenia.
