Dimora Brancaccio

The location area was very good... just on the very edge of old town... only meters away. Note: The actual specific location of the apartment entrance, was in an alley with graffiti everywhere. It did not look good from the outside. The apartment is big, with a King size bed (larger than a double, and larger than a queen size) with a VERY large bathroom, and good sized shower. We have stayed in 6 places in Italy so far. This shower was the best: Good sized, hot water, and great water pressure. It has been thoroughly renovated, and looks great. The kitchen is great, and includes a large refrigerator and an oven. It was ground floor, so no stairs, AND no way to access from the outside of the building, so safe. Overall, the price, location, and apartment itself, was very good. This was the lowest cost lodging, by far, of the 7 places we will have stayed in Italy. I highly recommend this apartment, unless cost is not a factor for you.

There was no staff on site. The staff that made the website, shows the address as Via Marino Brancaccio, 30, Lecce. When you get to this address, there is a very old door, that is falling apart, and locked with a big padlock. You can tell that no one lives there, and it is not rented out. I was trying to figure out why Google maps sent us to the wrong place. BUT, the website has a photo of the big, green front door. So, instead of tryng to call, email or WhatsApp the staff, we looked around, and realized that the Green Door in the photo was actually at Via Marino Brancaccio, 32. Next to the door was a lock box, with the keys to the building and apartment doors. We got into the apartment without difficulty. Look at the photos attached, to see the correct and incorrect location and doors to the apartment. There other two other negatives: 1. The apartment has a small window, very high up, in the living area, and small window, very high up, in the bedroom, and a skylight in the bathroom. Some natural light gets in, but you cannot see out the windows. There is no terrace.. 2. There is one heat.A/C unit in the living area, which does not cool the bedroom very well, leaving it very warm, while the living area is cold. A 2nd heat.A/C unit in the bedroom would fix this problem. It was not very hot outside (24C and less), so the apartment was not too hot for us Also, there is no washing machine, which would help to make long term stays better.

Appartement refait à neuf et très bien équipé, super literie et magnifique cuisine, même si nous ne l’avons pas utilisée. Idéalement situé au coeur du centre ville, très calme. La gentillesse de Marco pour satisfaire à nos demandes.

Tout était parfait, rien à redire

Casa spaziosa, bagno enorme( senza finestra ) doccia con ottima potenza dell’acqua. Cucina attrezzata con tutto. Posizione a due passi dall’anfiteatro.

Finestre molto piccole.
