Love the location, the view from the balcony of the apartment, the host who is so attentive making sure we find a parking spot and guiding us all the way to the apartment. The cafe downstairs of the apartment has the most delicious baked goods.

A very beautiful and spacious apartment with a balcony directly overlooking Piazza Sant'Oronzo and the Roman Amphitheatre. It was quiet at night and the apartment is fully equipped for a long or short stay. Our Host Monica was absolutely amazing.
Be prepared to climb 60 stairs! However the view and apartment are worth the climb.

Zentral gelegene geräumige Wohnung, nur wenige Schritte von den bedeutendsten Baudenkmälern entfernt. Eine gepflegte Frühstücks-Bar befindet sich im gleichen Gebäude unten. Das Bett war sehr angenehm. Die Vermieterin trafen wir nicht persönlich. Sie gab uns via WhatsApp sehr gute gastronomische Tipps und war rasch erreichbar.
Am Samstagabend "beglückte" eine der Bars auf der angrenzenden Piazza die ganze Umgebung mit ohrenbetäubender Musik, ansonsten war es angenehm ruhig. Das historische Zentrum von Lecce ist wie andere beliebte Destinationen in Italien mittlerweile sehr touristisch, und einige Reisende aus dem Reich des irren Donald Trump wussten sich überhaupt nicht zu benehmen, was allerdings nicht weiter erstaunte.
