The property is tucked away down an unadopted road, the extra directions really helped. Beautifully kept garden and very peaceful. The house was immaculately clean. Kitchen very well stocked. Thank you for the welcome pack, very much appreciated. Beds and bedding amazing, we all slept very well. We didn't use the roundhouse but looks lovely and a great idea. Loved the artwork and decoration throughout.

The stairs are very steep. Luckily there is a downstairs bedroom (which i don't think is mentioned in the particulars) which was a god send, as my elderly mother could not navigate the stairs at all. The downstairs 'bathroom' is very small and more like a cloakroom. The small basin is particularly tricky to use, mum found it difficult and she was unable to use the shower during our stay due to the step into it and narrowness of the shower door. The upstairs bathroom is accessed by the main bedroom. Not a problem for us, but if you are not staying as a family, may be an issue. Maybe a note on the listing re accessability issues would be useful.

Immaculately clean, equipped with everything you could need, all top quality. We were lucky with the weather so the garden was a winner, its beautiful, peacefull and quiet, the garden room was an added bonus with x box and games. Fabulous place to stay.

The house was beautiful and very clean. The added bonus of the outside space just helped make it even better.

Mooi en met smaak ingericht huis. Leuk verwelkomingspakketje. Mooi bed en badlinnen. Zeer volledig ingerichte en ruime keuken met heel leuk servies. Gezellige zithoek. Mooie tuin! Het huisje in de tuin was een sauna bij het warme weer, dus dat hebben we niet gebruikt. We maakten wel mooie wandelingen aan het water en in een natuurreservaat niet verrad, Hodbarrow, zeer mooi! Voor de rest vonden we Millom wel wat doods. Handige wasmachine en droogkast, alles ook voorzien in de kastjes van producten etc.

De ligging van het huisje: eerder in de buitenwijken van Millom vlak achter sociale wijk. Je gaat echt over de parking van de pub in een niet zo mooi steegje naar het huisje toe, voelde niet echt leuk bij aankomst. We hadden ook veel lawaai van de buren en hun kinderen (ook huurhuisje?) Het raam van de slaapkamer beneden was 1 meter van een omheining waar 's morgens vroeg al kinderen vlak aan je bed dus stonden te spelen, was echt schrikken van het lawaai! De badkamer beneden is echt zeer onhandig: piepklein, toilet half voor de deur (met lavabo in de waterbak van het toilet - tanden poetsen doe je dus beter in de keuken). Diepe stap naar beneden uit douche. Door de velux ramen was het er ook snikheet op de warme dagen. Badkamer boven was stuk mooier maar door de steile trap en door de slaapkamer heen, dus niet zo handig om deze te delen. Ook hier geen spiegel bij de lavabo (onhandig bv om te scheren)
