Didn't really like the area. Its not what I imagined it would be like. When I think of Cumbria I think of opening your home to a fantastic view which you dont get here.

Fabulously curated property in a great location
Fantastic property, great well equipped kitchen and comfortable living spaces. Enclosed garden was fabulous for Wilson (the dog!) and the roundhouse was a lovely addition. Excellent location, so close to the sea and backing onto a great nature reserve - again brilliant for walks with Wilson. A great new year with peace and a lovely log fire.

Amazing place to stay!
The cottage is amazing! We loved everything, starting from the tea cups, pillows and mattresses, to the cosy fire place perfect for a chilly evening. The garden is great for dining in the sunshine, and the little round play shed made the stay that bit more enjoyable.

This place is immaculate. The attention to detail is obvious. From the layout and features, the skylights that fill the spacious kitchen and shower room, to the finely crafted Kitchenware. (I loved the Mugs especially). The art in every room is subtle and tasteful. The colour themes in each room are distinct and comfortable.
And Damn! It's cosy. Everywhere is about comfort and chilling.
I'm not talking about a nice sofa here and there, (2 in fact) it's the whole feeling of the place.
The Beds are deep and the Duvets are warm.
Plenty of storage.
The Bathrooms are better than any Hotel suites.
The Kitchen has everything and more than you're used to. It's clean and sharp.
And that's if you only stay inside. The outdoor space is unbelievable.
I mentioned Details before, and I mean it when I say it because someone has gone to a lot of effort.
There was a full moon on the last night and I stood at the top of the Garden and for the first time on any holiday, I wanted this place to be mine.
I leaned up against the wall and just marvelled at the quiet and how the garden is protected from the wind. There's a raised area with table and chairs and solar lights. Incredible views of the night skies.
In the morning, I'd sit on one of the benches, Cuppa, birdsong, bliss.
Ok. There's 'The Roundhouse'.
That's an impressive room.
Admittedly, my Daughter basically lived in there, singing as loudly as she liked. It's Double glazed and warm. Two Sofas with USBs and they can go into 'flob mode'
Genius room.
The areas at the front and back are well maintained and full of fruit bushes and paths to the bay.
From any angle, this is great looking accommodation but it's the attention to details that will blow you away.
Millom is a quiet underestimated gem and this place is ..... perfect.
It's a little out of the way but that's a plus point.
Everything you need in minutes away on foot or Car.
I didn't like that we'd only booked it for the Weekend.
We'll know better next time.
It's a holiday in itself.

Beautiful house
We had an amazing week. The Foundry view is absolutely stunning. It was spotlessly clean, and everything was high class. The garden was beautiful with lots of seating areas to sit out and relax with family. There was a lovely beach walk at the end of the garden, which the dogs loved.
Emma and Darren were excellent hosts, great communication, and easy check-in. They provided lots of added extras, which was un expected. eg, milk, bread, butter beer, wine. Which was really thoughtful and appreciated. We would definitely recommend this beautiful house. The Devon pub down the road was great too ( don't serve food), but the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
Not many restaurants in the town, but we found lots within driving distance and lots of takeaways

A little peace of heaven.
The house is a beautiful hidden gem. On arrival the house was stunning and we were welcomed with arrival drinks which was a lovely suprise. The garden is gorgeous and sitting out enjoying the sunshine and the sound of the birds was such tranquillity. The house is filled with everything you need from board games to books. The beds where really comfty and the house overall was sureal. We walked to local pub which was very warming and friendly. The hosts of this house put everything into making sure you have an amazing relaxing experience. There are some beautiful walks around the area to explore and our dogs enjoyed there stay emensily. If you haven't already booked here I suggest you do. You will make so many memories.

Super friendly hosts and easy flexible check in, property just as lovely as it looks! We came by train and there is plenty to do by foot right on the property doorstep. Couldn't recommend more!

Absolutely beautiful house beautifuly decorated with a lovely arty vibe, garden , 3 lovely bedrooms and a log fire. Great location - walk through the 'secret garden' to the seaside and have a drink at Devon pub -1 min from the house with the friendliest staff and local people.

Amazing, accomodating and kind hosts. Emma was a pleasure to deal with from the moment I made the booking. The cottage was beautiful, clean, spacious in a perfect location. Only a 5 min drive to nearest beach and not far from multiple attractions. I would 100% recommend to family and friends and will be visiting again!
