Good value for Fort William but has some drawbacks.

Spacious room. Well chosen decor. Well chosen appliances e.g. kettle. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Garden views. Restful. Proximity to local bus that runs every half hour.

Room was chilly- I used towels for extra warmth. Movement from other guests was audible - especially the stairwell. Some features were impractical eg light switch over mirror impossible to reach unless you were 6ft tall. Clothes hook on bathroom door ditto. Too many directives- felt like boarding school (I am over 70yrs and not rebellious, but don't like the sense of the owner not trusting guests to do the sensible thing, and being over protective of property ). Not a welcoming atmosphere because of this. Not typical of other accommodation I've experienced.

For people with strong nervers.

Comfy bed, clean room, a bus to the city center nearby.

The 1st thing you see is the list of things you are not allowed to do. As you are leaving the premises you receive an email in capital letters with a threat that the venue is under surveilance camera and the list of things you need to perform before leaving. Have been travelling around the world and have never seen anything like that. On top, water in the bath tub stays in the basin so basically you stay in water - gross.
