Family Home in Hayle close to Gwithian Beach

Good homely feel

A couple of maintenance issues and cleaning from previous occupants

Location and space inside was brilliant. The place was very comfortable.

Finishing off touches with decor, cupboard doors etc all needs a little attention.

I like the house was perfect for what we wanted. It was clean open and had everything you would need.

Only downside was the doors and windows need some attention and clearly has not been cleaned for a while. Also it’s summer time and has a little garden with a great seating area but unfortunately no one had brushed off all the webs and leaves and dirt that had been falling down from the trees behind the property. It really needs a bit of attention as is being hot you want to sit outside. The table outside as well was filthy. I had to give it a clean. Also the bins outside was over flowing couldn’t fit my bags in before I left as nor did the people before me.

Beds were comfortable, hot water & heating worked well Internal space good for 2 adults, kitchen equipped okay. Sufficient nice towels Relatively close to food shops & to beach.

Overall it probably was once very nice but now feels a little uncared for, needs maintenance across a range of things: light bulbs missing & some lights not working. The freezer was completely iced up in some compartments, one gas burner didn’t work. Outside seating area was in a mess, we cleaned it up and stored the cushions in the outdoor box, those that didn’t fit put in the dining area to keep dry/clean . Outside table in a terrible state with the rattan all broken. Using the tv was incredibly frustrating, couldn’t work it easily, bought new remote batteries, but that didn’t help. The road noise was very very invasive, whether in lounge, garden or bedrooms. Overall the house was disappointing
