La carbonaia rooms in Agrigento

Nichts

This is evidently an old property that has been renovation to good standard, with comfortable bed, sofa, good shower room, large desk with multiple power sockets (a rare thing in Sicily). Good coffee machine (pods provided) and many cakes/pastries (not fresh). I did not meet the owner but he was very prompt to reply to an issue I raised. It is located near the station in a fascinating neighbourhood of steep winding alleyways and crumbling buildings, full of character but could feel a little insecure at night. The town centre is nearby.

There was a wide range of toiletries provided, and whilst I applaud the gesture, these all come in individual plastic sachets which seemed wasteful. Similarly all those pastries came in plastic.

Hermoso departamento.

Great location, very helpful staff. The flat was very clean and well equipped. Just a short walk from the Main Street. A very cute gray cat greeted us on the terrace.
