Elegant Boathouse

The boat house rooms were clean and tidy and the food provided on board is simple but tasty. Very homely. Each room in the boat has a large window to view the waters. They offer speed boat and a slow boat ride at the first and second docking stations. Definitely take the slow boat ride that takes you through the smaller lanes in the backwaters. The slow boat also takes you to a sunset point where the view are stunning and totally worth the money. These 2 boat rides are charged separately at ₹300 & ₹600 per person.

By evening there are tons of mosquitoes and as a standard there are no mosquitoes repellers in the room. Ensure to carry one with you. The property should do something about the mosquitoes like spraying something like the one done in flight.

The boat was clean and the bedroom was fabulous. We had a great view of the water and it was cool due to the air con. Bathroom was good and we were provided with everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious. There was loads of choice and many differs curries. We also had some delicious red port wine produced in India.

The property was great, the boat trip was a little disappointing as we didn’t go to lots of different places and kind of floated around a bit.

The boat was great, quite lavishly decorated. The bed was very comfortable and we had great views from our dual aspect room. The staff were very attentive.
