The staff were dull and miserable

The hotel itself was comfortable

everything was great! after reading other reviews, we expected the staff to maybe not speak English, but over our stay we spoke to several staff members, and everyone’s English has been more than good. the bed was amazing. the tea set was cute. incredible water pressure and real hot water. fun toilet! the breakfast indeed was traditional Asian breakfast with congee and cold cuts and some veggies; instant coffee. we read about it in the reviews, so it was no surprise, and we enjoyed it as it matched our expectations. the staff went out of their way to accommodate every request. when we asked for more water at reception, by the time we were back in our room, it was already there! we will definitely return to this hotel in the future as we really love the area. if you’re into food and haven’t visited Ekkamai before, we suggest you try THE COMMONS nearby.

as the other reviews said, the roof top pool was rather dirty + on the day of our visit, there wasn’t enough water in it.

Mooie ruime kamer. Netjes gerenoveerd

Ontbijt volledig gericht op Aziatische gasten, geen melk voor in de koffie. Op kamer geen koffie en thee voorziening, stond wel beschreven op de site. Personeel sprak nauwelijk Engels. Zwembad lag vol rotzooi en er waren geen ligstoelen.
