The property is in a great location for exploring Leek. The property has everything you need for a short stay. Alberto answered any questions I had quickly.
The only downside is that the mattress is not the most comfortable.

Quirky little property
Great local pub (Britannia Inn) and more around the area
Supermarkets within 0.5miles 10-15min walk
Pleasant smell to property with reed defusers
Plenty of utensils and crockery (there were some cleaning products under the sink and kitchen roll which was a bonus)
Great WiFi

There were complaints from previous reviews about uneven floors but it doesn't hinder your stay, I suppose if it was your own property it would get sorted but as a holiday let it's not really something to worry about
There is a lot of footfall past the property and can get a little loud with vehicles and kicking out time from the pub over the road but it didn't hinder my stay as I enjoy huslte and bussle
The property is great for a base to eat, sleep etc ...
Not a massive daytime TV watcher but there was no reception on either TV but netflix and YouTube worked well
The bed wasn't the comfiest
The stairs are on the steep side and the handrail was a little shaky I didn't need to use the handrail and may need attention
Oven and hob needs cleaning going forward
There is a single yellow line just a little further from the property where you can park but I didn't have a vehicle so wasn't an issue

Location was great, easy walking distance to amenities.Key box made for easy check in
The house is in need of some TLC, the flooring is buckling and uneven and the walls/paint work are grubby and chipped. The TV reception is very poor so needed to log in to our own streaming services to watch anything.
There was only 1 bath towel and one hand towel left for us so we had to share, not ideal especially as the property is quite damp so the towel didn't really dry. The mattress needs changing as it is very soft, so much so that we kept rolling into the middle together so sleep wasn't the best.
The stairs are steep and narrow but we were fine with them.
There was a odor to the property not sure if it was damp or pet but it wasn't a fresh smell.
It was a passable stay for a work event but would not stay again.
