Really lovely little building
Really lovely little house all to ourselves with a front room/kitchen and winding steps leading up to a bathroom and bedroom. It’s really well situated just a short walk away from the town centre. It is on a main road, but this wasn’t a problem at all. I’d happily stay here again.
Although there was no parking, there is plenty around on the streets and they had left pizza and cake in the fridge from the previous occupants, but that wasn’t a big issue as the property is lovely.

A comfortable stay in a small property very convenient for Leek centre.
It was very convenient for town centre, bedroom & bathroom comfortable, lounge/kitchen area good.
Only seating available in lounge/kitchen area was a huge settee (given the size of the room) which I think was intended to double as a second bed.

Would not stay again due to the odour

It has a really unpleasant smell not sure what it is mould, pets or brick dust but we booked 2 nights and only stayed 1 night due to the smell .

Location was great, easy walking distance to amenities.Key box made for easy check in
The house is in need of some TLC, the flooring is buckling and uneven and the walls/paint work are grubby and chipped. The TV reception is very poor so needed to log in to our own streaming services to watch anything. There was only 1 bath towel and one hand towel left for us so we had to share, not ideal especially as the property is quite damp so the towel didn't really dry. The mattress needs changing as it is very soft, so much so that we kept rolling into the middle together so sleep wasn't the best. The stairs are steep and narrow but we were fine with them. There was a odor to the property not sure if it was damp or pet but it wasn't a fresh smell. It was a passable stay for a work event but would not stay again.

Location
The tv reception was very poor, and it's wiring was potentially dangerous in the lounge. The lounge furniture was uncomfortable, and the bed's mattress urgently required replacing as it was really uncomfortable. This aspect was more significant as my partner and l did a lot of walking around the area and experienced very poor nights sleep.
