Enjoyable stay with attentive hosts.

Excellent location for access to the Peak District. Good local stores and restaurants for the evening. The kitchen had all you would need.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, but that could be personal preference.

Well appointed, modern and convenient. Warm and comfortable. File of information was useful.

The fact that the lift was out of order and the flat was on the top floor was inconvenient. I only learnt about the lift problems after I booked it. I managed, but it did detract from the stay. Some of the info file was out of date, but that was only a minor problem.

Lovely place but if you stay Sunday - Tuesday plan to cook! Most places kitchen’s are closed unless you don’t kind a Wet

Had everything we needed and easy to find

We cooked one night but the dishes & baking trays had to be washed before we could even use them. There were also hairs in the bath mat when we arrived.

Great apartment but think twice if you have a bad back or cannot manage stairs.

Apartment is clean and very well equipped with everything you need including a washing machine and dishwasher, I didn't use any of them so no idea how they are. Great location in well kept building.

Sadly all the beds were far too soft and unsupportive for me. As some one with a history of back problems this means I cannot stay again, a shame as the apartment is great. Not an issue for me, but the lift was broken and apartment is on the 4th floor. No clothes airier for drying washing, so I didn't use the washer. Huge spider in the bed, must have crawled in though the skylight window!

Cosy top floor apartment, suitable for families

Nicely located in the centre of leek and easy to get into the peaks itself. Very clean and comfy beds. Kitchen well equipped too

The lift wasn’t working so carry everything for 2 adults and 2 kids wasn’t the easiest. As the apartment is on the top floor is very warm in the bedrooms but luckily it wasn’t too much of a hot summer day.

Great location, very accessible to all things

I could have been told the lift wasn’t working and according to sources hasn’t been for a while. My family were on the fourth floor, two people with COPD so really not ideal. We arrived on the Friday and only received a message bout the lift on the Sunday. Dry poor service in that respect

Brilliant modern apparent with everything we needed, located in an ideal position for Leek with lots of restaurants, pub

Property was lovely, clean and had everything we needed, booked as we were going to Alton towers and it was an easy 20 minute drive.

The lift was not working and we were on the top floor, we were made aware of this on the day of our arrival, it was not a major inconvenience as we were fit and healthy so were able to walk up the stairs.

Excellent choice for our 3 night stay in Leek

Excellent location, clean, comfortable, quiet, well appointed accommodation. Leek is a lovely town to explore on foot. Plenty of cafes and restaurants

I liked the property location walking distance to town centre. Shops lots of food outlets Cafe's pubs . Lots of tourist places in Peak District. The property it's self very good.

Comfortable 2 night stay

Great central location, easy to find with cheap parking very close by. Very clean and comfortable. We were there for 2 nights for a nearby wedding, 4 adults in our group (parents and adult daughter and son in law) and we had plenty of room to relax, both before and after our events. Simple instructions upon arrival to get the keys to our apartment. Would definitely book again.

Minor inconvenience of the lift bot working during our stay, I'm on crutches so I was a bit concerned on arrival, however even though our apartment was on the top floor, the stairs weren't steep so I was able to manage easily enough. Slight negative point was no hairdryer (I knew in advance so had taken my own) and I felt that the bedrooms could benefit from a mirror to make it slightly easier when drying hair, as I had to stand in the hallway to use the mirror there to be able to do my hair. Didn't affect our stay, this is just a heads up for future guests.

Centrally located, plenty of parking close by and shops. Only 20 minutes to Alton Towers. Home was clean and tidy.

Very basic TV so was unable to stream a film from netflix on a night.

Brilliant and modern and clean but got to have the lift.

We have stayed in Las Vegas,San Francisco,New York and loads of other places,but this will take all the beating,modern,clean,comfortable,located well,really nice.

Only one set back the lift wasn’t working,we were on the top floor,room 8,if we stopped again the lift would have to be working or we would have to be near the bottom floor. Please get the lift fixed.

Would stay again - pleasantly surprised

Great location, fantastic facilities. We had looked at reviews previously left and any suggestions given by others had clearly been acted on - it was great to see that there is a responsive host. We stayed here for a trip to Alton towers but were pleasantly surprised by how lovely leek itself is. The owner left a very useful folder of Information with recommendations for places to eat and we can verify that their suggestions are good! We would definitely stay here again.

From previous reviews we knew the lift wasn’t working but it would have been helpful to have a message about this before staying. There was also a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the living room. This wasn’t noticeable after a short time but we did smell it each time we entered the room as we are non smokers. I suspect the smell was on the sofas rather than someone having broken the rules and smoking in the room itself.

Was nice enough apartment however the host the night before ruined it for us.

Property was very clean and more spacious than it looks

The owner asked for us to pay an extra £50 the night before we went in order to make up the full 3 beds that are advertised when booking the apartment. I asked to see the written policy where it states this charge is extra and they failed to provide me with it. The double bed also makes a loud noise every slight movement you make

Lovely little apartment. Perfect for our trip to Alton Towers. Lovely and clean, facilities were perfect. Parking was not a problem. The owners were very helpful. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

There was nothing to dislike. The lift was not working but I was pre-warned. The apartment is at the top but not too many steps.

Lovely apartment, clean, easy, good location just a little noisy at night.

Great location, easy to walk out and explore and close to the Roaches where we were climbing. Had everything we needed and all very clean.

Noise from other apartments and someone ringing bell at 2am, also the bedroom window was open when we arrived and rain had come in and made a puddle on the floor... luckily missed the bed!

The location was just on the side of Leek, easy walking distance to any of the shops and restaurants. Around the corner from a very big car park.

Ideal Leek location

The flat was lovely and clean, had everything you'd need for a short stay, and was bang in the middle of town. Also, a very cheap car park just around the corner.

The flat is at the top of the building, so a fair few flights of stairs to tackle. There is a disabled lift, but it was locked, maybe you can get a key if you asked?
