    Booked this hotel due to the IHG brand reputation and proximity to Istanbul Airport. Unfortunately, our stay from 15–16 August was ruined by non-functional room facilities and hostile morning customer service. Our TV had no signal during the night. When reported early the next morning, a technician spent almost 1.5 hours in our room trying to fix it, but ultimately failed and said nothing could be done (attached photo shows the non-functional TV). No apology or room adjustment was offered. To make matters worse, the morning front desk staff member, Borek, refused to honor the complimentary breakfast extended to us by the night front desk manager as a first-time welcome and IHG loyalty gesture. When I politely explained the situation, Borek was exceptionally rude, refused to listen, and demanded €60 (€15/pax) before letting my family enter. When I asked him to call the night manager or duty manager to verify, he refused, claiming they were unreachable. He treated us with total suspicion and disrespect. We didn't need their meal, as we had lounge access and flights back to Asia shortly after, but his hostile attitude and complete lack of service recovery were unacceptable. Highly disappointing experience for an IHG-flagged property.

    We had a bit of an issue with the taxi from the airport who dropped us off 3 kms from the hotel but otherwise this hotel was perfect for our long layover at IST. The staff was kind, the room was clean, there was an onsite restaurant (we didn’t eat because we weren’t hungry), beds were comfortable and the black out curtains provided darkness so we could sleep. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We would stay here again but would take the bus instead of a taxi next time.

    Chose this because of location to airport. Rooms are small but functional. Clean and comfortable bed. Choose the rooms away from main road. However the noise insulation did not manage to block the airplane noise. Public bus available at try70.
