Fantastic property, super hosts - we had a brilliant stay!

Lovely clean and spacious property close to the train station.

It is around a 20 minute walk from the beach. This was fine for us but something to keep in mind if not bringing a car.

Disappointed

It was spacious enough. It had the essentials.

It wasn't really comfortable and certainly not 'cosy' as described. None of the floors had been cleaned and there were piles of dust, fluff and bits on carpets and under furniture. When one used the shower (it didn't have an upstairs bathroom) the water pressure was so strong it flooded the bathroom and there was a big job mopping up. There were no bin bags. It was described as close to the sea but really wasn't. It was a car drive away rather than walking distance. That cannot be described as close to sea. Also the deposit system is confusing. 'Stayful' have taken another £200 out of my account today but then replaced it so I am once again waiting for my deposit to be returned. I have reported some of the issues directly to the agent hoping to avoid giving them poor feedback but I'm now disappointed with their whole system and this is not what I expect when booking through Booking.com

Fantastic family stay in a great location!

Fantastic location, we have stayed in other properties closer to the sea and we found that this property, although a little further out was absolutely fine. It was about a 15 minute walk in to the town centre/seafront which was well signposted and pleasant or few minutes drive. The house itself is located in a very quiet street with ample parking, the house is deceiving from the outside it's very spacious and big inside, perfect for a family stay. We had no issues parking directly outside for our entire stay. Spar a 2 minute walk away which was really handy and a few takeaways - definitely recommend Grill n Go just at the end of the street, really good food! Locals were all REALLY friendly and we had no issues at all during our stay - the house has everything you would need for a comfortable break - bedding/towels were clean and comfy and very quiet area during the evening. We were able to log in to our personal Netflix/Disney accounts on the TV. Hosts were brilliant, always quick to respond and i was able to extend our stay by an additional night with a quick message - although we had to put down a security deposit this was returned as stated within 2 days of us returning home and the process was quite simple.

Although pretty self explanatory a welcome book/pack would be handy just to have everything in one place. I was charged a second security deposit for my additional nights stay which i felt wasn't communicated with me (so £400 was held in total) not sure why my original £200 didn't cover the extra night and could be something that the host looks in to (have added nights on to other properties and not had this issue)

Excellent holiday home, in an excellent sea glass Town.

Only let down was the TV. Brand new set, excellent, we thought. However, it had not been set up, so very, very limited viewing. One other issue, which unfortunately cannot be rectified, is the downstairs toilet. OK for the majority of people, but, as we are not as young as we used to be, it's a long way up and down stairs in the night. Otherwise a very smart, very well equipped place to stay.
