Wonderful hosts in a wonderful location.

Pauline and Bill were the kindest hosts that we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They absolutely went above and beyond in every sense. The loft is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It has lovely far reaching views over the countryside. Unfortunately our journey was cut short by a family bereavement. This gave us a logistical nightmare in terms of fulfilling the purpose of our visit - to move our daughter out of halls of residence and into her new private accommodation. We are exceedingly grateful for there kindness and help in enabling us to achieve that. We didn’t bring our dog but I know they’d be made welcome. They are wonderful people who love animals too.

A gem of a find

Hosts were very pleasant and accommodating. Apartment very clean and quiet location.

Not so keen on the open sharing pack of tea, sugar etc (don't know if all guests wash hands before diving in). Also communal toiletries. We do take our own stuff so didn't need to use it. This is just my opinion, otherwise can't fault it. It's a gem of a find if you want abit of peace.

Comfortable, clean, friendly and relaxing.

The property has been developed to a very high standard and is in a really lovely, quiet location, but close enough to amenities and to access either the A1 or A19. Pauline and Bill are excellent hosts. Nothing seemed too much for Pauline to do and she even asked us if we wanted anything from the local shop when she popped out for herself. Bill's guided tour of the property on arrival was as amusing as it was informative. They are a lovely couple who made us feel like friends rather than guests. We can't recommend this property highly enough. Thank you so much Pauline and Bill.

Ideal overnight stay before the Great North Run...

Ideal for a quick one night stopover before heading to Newcastle for the Great North Run. The decor was modern and fresh, the room was clean and well equipped. Pauline and Bill were very friendly!

Loved every minute

A lovely mix of comfort and mod-con (infra-red radiators? Very space age), set in beautiful, tranquil countryside. Ideal for a night or a few away from life. Bill and Pauline were beyond helpful with anything we needed

Lovely County Durham loft

Pauline and Bill were very friendly and welcoming - we will definitely be returning I’m sure! The loft itself is immaculate with everything you could need for a short trip away. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great too. The viewings from the window are amazing and the sunset from the balcony is incredible - a perfect country retreat!
