Glasgow Hydro Apt with Great Views

Very large space with a lovely view of the river. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking equipment and dishes. The seating area was comfortable and fit our whole family, as did the dining table. Parking is secure and elevators worked quickly. Great water pressure!

The washer/dryer combo machine was unreliable. The doors SLAM. Light bulbs are missing, the towel warmers don’t work, and the general feel is pretty run-down.

Location and size.

The kitchen really needs upgrading as does the bathroom. Bedroom blinds in front bedroom really not suitable. 1 bedside table in each room and no drawers in main bedroom. Lack of hand towels. Cleaner came with 2 bathmats as hand towels as none available.Behind furnishings need a good clean.

The location of the flat was great for the concert we were attending. The flat is very spacious and beds super comfy. The host is great and answers questions very quickly.

99.9% was great and spoke to Stuart about tiny things which I am sure he will put in place. So small no worth wrong on review.

The apartment was not cleaned to a good standard. The washer was mouldy and smelly. I was not informed about the cladding on the building. The alarm system had 11 pending faults. The kitchen units need attention/fixing. Some of the light bulbs needed replacing. No evacuation plan in case of fire/emergency. No visible carbon monoxide detectors. Some of the kitchen utensils, cutlery, plates,pans etc not clean. No furniture on balcony. Too much light through blinds in bedrooms at night. No attention to detail when cleaned and not hygienic Food/dust under furniture, clearly not moved when cleaning. No spare bin bags and the main bin bag it had been stretched to fit in kitchen bin and was torn preventing us from removing our own rubbish. Only 1 small tea towel. No hand wash or hand towels in kitchen area. Refrigerator had blocked drainage hole and flooded bottom of fridge. Fixed this and cleaned the fridge. I had to empty the 2 blocked cartridges and cleaned the coffee machine to get it to work properly. The blind cords had been removed from safety attachments posing a strangulation hazard to children. No safety catch on kitchen window to prevent possible fall out. Bath panel needs replacing. Could only access 1 TV channel. Flooring in kitchen needs replacing due to possible trip hazard.
