The motel was extremely affordable, especially for it's location. It was about a 30-40 min walk straight down the street to get to the historic, downtown part of St Augustine. We enjoyed the walk; getting to pass by quaint bistros and shops. I loved the colors of the room. Very old Florida, especially the bathroom tiles. I was surprised to find that our room had a small kitchenette. Overall, a nice stay for someone to wanted to visit the old city as get a feel for Old Florida without breaking the bank.
Everything was nice and clean. No complaints other than when we first got there there was a very faint smell like a dog had been in the room. Once we turned on the AC it was gone. Still though, nice clean room.
