Apartment Beautiful City View

L'accueil par Josip était parfait, d'autant plus qu'il correspondait à notre arrivée en Croatie. Il a pris le temps de parfaitement nous briefer sur tout ce qu'il semble important de savoir pour un début de séjour, à Split particulièrement : les restaurants, les spécialités (Peka, Burek, Ćevapčići...), les plages, les différentes choses à faire, les croates, etc... Il est très bavard 😊. Aussi, il a été particulièrement disponible pour répondre à toutes nos sollicitations. L'appartement est très bien situé, dans un quartier proche de la veille ville avec des places de stationnement gratuites (parfois difficiles à trouver). Il nécessiterait peut-être un petit rafraîchissement et rajeunissement des équipements : climatisation, ventilateurs et remplacement des ampoules défectueuses.

The location is awesome - just a short stroll from the center of Split. Our host was genuinely helpful and clearly knew the area well, giving us great tips on restaurants, shops, and beaches. When the advertised on-site parking turned out to be full (as it often is in Split), he took the time to personally show us a spot just 5 minutes away, which we really appreciated. The apartment was clean, and overall we had a lovely time in the city.

A few small things fell short of the listing. Parking is advertised as available on-site, but in practice it's rarely free, so it'd be worth setting expectations there. The apartment is also on the top floor of an older building, which wasn't mentioned in the description. The furniture and beds felt a bit dated, and the kitchen was only stocked for around six people, so with 6 people staying, the dishwasher sometimes had to run half-empty - it also seemed to need a bit of maintenance. There's construction happening on the neighboring lot too, which could be noisy on weekdays (we got lucky staying over the weekend). None of this ruined our stay, but a few updates would make a real difference given the price point. Split itself was wonderful, and we'd happily visit again — just with a different place to stay.

Host was very kind and he came up with recommendations about what to do in Split regarding food, experiences, etc. He was super friendly. We tried all his culinary recommendations which were excellent!
