On the Water 6 A One-of-a-Kind Stay Free Parking By My Getaways

The accommodation was the same as in the promo photos. Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and useful items like dishcloth, washing up liquid, spare bin bag and tea towel were present. Modern decor and clean. The area ( marina) is very quiet which was welcomed. We had an issue with the fridge not being cool on arrival. My query was answered and followed up swiftly via what's app team. A team member also came to check it out and was very friendly and professional. The company ordered a new one to arrive the following day but the current fridge started working anyway.

The living space became very bright once it started getting light during the night. Blackout curtains and/ or blind in the living area to keep it dark during the night would be welcomed. Also a blind on the front door would be beneficial. As we were a family of 4, 2 keys would have been useful too. The parking arrangement was somewhat misleading...it is free but it's in the local multi storey which has signs saying 4 hours max but the company said it wasn't monitored so we had to take their work for it but it was a little worrying.

Property had a lovely interior and great facilities, was in a great location with lots of restaurants and activities near. The bed was super comfy and the balcony was also a plus.

the parking was a 5ish minute walk away, which wasn’t too much of an issue, however the loading situation was difficult. Upon arrival there was no where to park in the loading bays so we had to unload whilst being parked in the yellow hatched area. With only ten minutes to unload and get belongings into apartment, it was a little tight timing wise. The apartment sways a lot when it’s windy so we did sometimes feel a bit seasick.

Wir haben leider nicht mitbekommen, dass wir einen link erhalten haben, in welchem wir nochmals 30£ überweisen sollten. Ich würde dies auch überdenken, in der heutigen Zeit. Von Booking.com bekommt man eine Information, dass man keine links anklicken soll, bei denen man sich unsicher ist. In diesem Fall kommt eine SMS einer Nummer, die ich auf den ersten Blick nicht zuordnen kann und eine Nachricht auf Booking.com mit einem link, mit dem ich nicht gerechnet habe. Das war unüblich aber soll die Unterkunft nicht schlecht machen, es war wirklich eine sehr interessante Location 🙂
